MillerTech chosen as a CRM & CMS supplier for The Pipeline Industries Guild
MillerTech announces a formal partnership with The Pipeline Industries Guild the only association world-wide to cater directly for the needs of the pipeline industry. The Guild is taking a major strategic move to redevelop its current website to the Drupal platform integrating seamlessly with CiviCRM. The current Guild’s system was found inflexible to use and also lacks certain features that are necessary in a modern website. The Guild searched for a new solution to generate more professional client-side platform which, in conjunction with a more suited CRM system, would provide greater benefit to their members.
The Pipeline Industries Guild required a solution which would better communicate with its members and allows to more effectively manage members’ information and with increased functionally, greater efficiency can be achieved with, for example, taking online payments via PayPal or associated carriers. It’s important that the website is responsive as this will add value in the form of modernising the website and providing an overall more professional visual appeal.
MillerTech’s proposal of a Drupal integrated CiviCRM met and exceeded all of Pipeline’s requirements. This flexible and scalable solution will provide the Guild staff with the ability to monitor administration of member records and relationships to organisations. It will also enable to them to gain greater control across event management functions such as events, polls, surveys etc. Ability to launch email campaigns via the database and target specific segments will provide a consolidated view of data of their memberships.
MillerTech have an extensive history of implementing CRM solutions over the past 30 years and partnering with similar Not for Profit (NfP) organisations. We are pleased to create a partnership with The Pipeline Industries Guild and believe that modernising website in using together with CiviCRM will help the Guild to create the best possible conditions for their members.
ABOUT THE PIPELINE INDUSTRIES GUILD
The Pipeline Industries Guild was formed in 1957. Since then, it has evolved to be the only association world-wide to cater directly for the needs of the pipeline industry, regardless of engineering discipline, application, or qualification. The Guild's membership comprises those with interests in pipelines world-wide, transporting hydrocarbon products, chemicals, water, wastewater, and many other substances, both on and offshore. All are governed by the industry's twin need to combine quality with safety, while at the same time meeting all the latest environmental and legislative requirements. The Guild is the respected authority within all branches of the pipeline industry, and there are few pipeline engineering problems its members cannot solve. Part of its increasing and unique strength is the Guild's ability to attract members from all sides of the pipeline industry, whether they are concerned with deep-sea pipelines or with the latest developments on land in no-dig and minimal disturbance pipe and duct-laying technology.
