MillerTech, the CRM Specialists for the Not-for-Profit sector is delighted to announce that Andy Norgate, currently Development Director at MillerTech, has become the company’s new Managing Director.
Andy brings to our company great enthusiasm and a wealth of business and technical expertise gained during his 30 years of service at MillerTech. Andy takes over from Philip Crouch, who will remain on the MillerTech board as Non-Executive Director.
Upon his appointment, Andy commented: “I am very pleased to be taking on the Managing Director role for the next phase of development of MillerTech at this exciting time when our CRM solutions (Merlin and CiviCRM) are building on the strong foundations laid to date. This coupled with our proven track record of delivering projects on budget and time will further demonstrate why MillerTech is the leading supplier in this wonderful sector”.
The MillerTech Board would like to thank Philip for his exceptional hard work and dedication over the last 21 years developing MillerTech as the renowned CRM specialists in our sector.
Message from outgoing MD, Phil Crouch: “After 21 years as part of the MillerTech team I have decided it is time for retirement. Over the last three years I have been gradually transferring responsibilities to others in the MillerTech management team and this process is now complete to allow me the chance to retire on 31st December in the knowledge that the company is in reliable hands. I worked with MillerTech for 12 years as a software partner from its inception in 1984 until I joined as an employee in April 1996 as Sales Manager. With the establishing of the Management Team I became Managing Director in 2007. Much has changed technologically since 1984 but dealing with customers and staff remains a constant. My main objective in my role at MillerTech has been to ensure that staff and customers alike are treated honestly, fairly and responsibly so that we can establish long-standing relationships. While this has not always been achieved I am grateful that we have been able to retain many employees for remarkably long service in an industry that is not often famous for such loyalty. Likewise we have been able to retain customers for long periods too, many in excess of 10 years and some for over 20 years.
My main regret is that I will leave those relationships behind but I am also looking forward to enjoying the pleasures of retirement. I believe that MillerTech is at an exciting point in its history.
Our new Merlin product is providing an elegant upgrade path for our existing SodalitaS and Ariadne customers and an attractive alternative for new customers. Our knowledge and experience of installing and maintaining CiviCRM is unrivalled in the UK and we are ideally positioned to expand these services.
I have enjoyed working with the Not for Profit sector for the past 33 years. It has many challenges but once these are understood the rewards commercially and personally are many. As I enter this new chapter I wish all of our staff, customers and partners every blessing and prosperity in the future.”
